She was the class valedictorian, captain of the swim team and an officer in the National Honor Society. The Tragic End: In March of 2000, Andrea, on Rusty's urging, became pregnant and stopped taking the Haldol. On November 30, 2000, Mary was born. Andrea was coping but on March 12, her father died and immediately her mental state digressed. She stopped talking, refused liquids, mutilated herself, and would not feed Mary. She also frantically read the Bible.

It was reported some time ago -- I've lost the reference -- that she was abused as a child. Everything in the bio is consistent with this, especially The Tragic End. Having been made to feel absolutely worthless by the abuse -- continued by that twerp she married -- and working as hard as she could for self esteem, the combination of I. giving birth to 'Mary', their first girl (after"Noah", 'John', 'Paul', 'Luke',) and II. the death of her father (the likely abuser) triggered the pstchotic seizure. She wouldn't have THEM, especially the little girl, live the same worthless life she had.

I think Limbaugh and Coulter were abused, too, which explains why they, and those on their wavelength, don't mind seeing American kids killed in the Iraq pressure cooker. It is THEIR way of passing on the worthless pieces of shit they are... and exlains why "they are rubber, you are glue, whatever you say sticks to you". "How did that viagra get there from Clinton's library?" ? If you can see the twistedness, that says it all, no comment needed.
The fact that Andrea Yates was abused is being kept out of this trial, too, though references to "childhood psychosis" were made by the "defense" lawyer, who is probably an abused abuser himself. Passionately whining "She thought she was saving them from punishment!" -- arguing for a "not guilty by reason of insanity" verdict.
But they are all, all who have supported Bush -- an alcoholic who may have been abused, according to Kitty Kelley's book, guilty by reason of insanity.
